We are reaching out to inform you that PROS will make a change in the HTTP Response Status Codes in PROS Shopping and Merchandising services. The returned HTTP Status Code “503 Service Unavailable” is used at the moment when the TPS (Transactions Per Second) are exceeding the expected peak load. To improve our process, from 01st of December 2021 we will start returning HTTP Status Code “429 Too Many Requests” in such cases. HTTP Status Code 503 will continue to exist and will be returned only when the service is not operational.

We will confirm as soon as the change is live in Production.
